Additional costs:
  • Hostel is $100 per month, two person rooms with shower-toilet-kitchen;
  • Health insurance, $100 per year, purchasable in home country or Russia.
  • Food, $100 per month and up. This is a student food budget. Depending on your diet and
    needs. Often doctors will share food costs and cooking between themselves;
  • Allot One US Dollar ($1.) per day for public transportation.
  • Winter clothes $200+ covers warm long jacket, high top waterproof boots, gloves and
    cap for head.


ENROLLMENT PROCEDURE AND HOW FEES AND TUITION ARE PAID ?

  1. Complete the one-page Application FORM that includes your complete mailing address.
    Scan and E-mail;
  2. Scan and email a copy of your passport showing personal data and issuance/expiration
    dates;
  3. Scan and email a copy of your Secondary School Diploma;
  4. Scan and email a copy of your professional degree, e.g. M.D., D.M.D., DIHom, etc.  This
    represents a change in the procedures.  We are now required to have your documents
    "officially translated" and submitted to the Office of Russian Federation Education
    Ministry to certify its equivalence ("apostyle procedure"). This represents the added
    cost to the applicant of $300 at time of submitting your application. HOWEVER THIS $300
    EVALUATION FOR EQUIVALENCE FEE IS NOT REQUIRED IF YOU GRADUATED FROM A
    RUSSIAN MEDICAL SCHOOL;
  5. Full cost to apply is $800: representing $500 application fee plus $300 nosterfication cost
    for a total of $800. This payment is non refundable;
  6. Once we have received your educational documents, have had translated, submit to
    Education Ministry, and they are found/stamped as equivalent, an Acceptance letter will
    be prepared and emailed to your agent;
  7. All Acceptance Letters are issued officially by MAPS or the UNIVERSITY, stamped and
    signed:
  8. Upon receipt by you, you will be required to commit to enroll in the program, or not;
  9. To commit, you must pay a Visa Processing fee to be processed for your visa invitation
    letter of $500 by bank transfer to PMT, or payment to the local representative. With
    receipt of this payment we will process your visa invitation. This payment guarantees you
    a seat in the class for which you are enrolling. The seat guarantee is for the class you
    enroll into, and is not applied to the next scheduled class if you fail to arrive for the start
    of that class;
  10. Your original acceptance letter and your visa invitation letter will be expressed mailed to
    you at the address indicated on your Acceptance Letter, or to your country
    representative if represented;
  11. With the visa invitation (only originals accepted) you will obtain your visa at a Russian
    Consulate in your country;
  12. If you are represented by an authorized representative, partial "processing fees" will be
    paid in your home country before you depart. All other payments, including "tuition", are
    paid only when you arrive in St. Petersburg;
  13. Doctors are responsible for their travel arrangements, including booking to St.
    Petersburg.  Full, complete and accurate arrival information must be communicated to us
    by doctors in advance;
  14. Doctors are provided with full contact information in St. Petersburg before they depart
    their respective countries;
  15. Each doctor is personally met at the arrival airport in St. Petersburg and taken to their
    Hostels.
